SITUATING OURSELVES

In our country, to master the English Language  is very challengingfor students, because it demands lots of time, practice and effort to learn it appropriately.  As a teacher, I can pont out that it is necessary various effective activities for teaching English in order that the students cannot only learn it effectively, but also aapply it practically.

After concluding the International Program "Go Teacher" at the University of Mississippi, I will work at any public high school, in which, there will be more than fifty scholars per classroom, with different levels of English knowledge, socio-economic status, dialects, ages, etc.  Due to this fact, I am expecting myself to take into account all these features  in order to look for and apply valid strategies and techniques that make my students succeed in the learning process.

Since it is vital for learners to learn English well in order to master the language, I will design several activities for students to use with English and, subsequently acquire it efficently.  Furthermore, they can learn better when they are provided with collaborative activities, because they can  interact with classmates and share fun in learning.   Finally,  when teachers integrate  listening, writing, reading, and speaking activities together in teaching English, students ca be involved in the process and develop the four skills.

Thus,  it is effective to teach learners English when  they are provided with different  activities to practice and use them in all the contexts.
