SITUATING OURSELVES

Ecuador is alittle country located in the Noth of South America; It has around 13´000.000 inhabitants, they are distributed among the four main regions: Coast, Highlands, Amazon andInsular region.

Ecuadorin people economy is mainly based on oil explotationand flowers and shrimp exportation.

Another economic activity newly develop, it is Tourism; many university level students are interested in take this major in order to  obtain a job to fill this new work area.

Gastronomy and Hotel Management are those new major with numerous demand at the college level.

Students who decided to study this subjects, they have a great expectative because they want to increase their skills on these areas; they should to be able to face this challenge with succes.

Students need to acquire skills in speaking and listenig mainly but besides writing and reading.

The aim for them is communicate fluid and accuracy with their posible clients and they require a well trainning on those areas to granted them to obtain a good job.
