SITUATING OURSELVES

Nowadays,there is other essential feature different from Art, to describe teaching English , it is considered like a Science too.Because,understanding this language and finding the best way of explaining to the students,concern some kind of scientific procedure.English teachers in Ecuador are not only called to know English, but to find the best ways of transmitting it .For that reason, it is important  to analyze the regional,educational and personal background of students to implement  effective and remarkable teaching methodologies.

In my personal case,I have planned to come back to Ecuador in order to, put in practice on my students,the teaching expertise that I am learning in this program.I am going to teach to teenagers from about twelve to eighteen years old,who are facing up the normal and confused process of growing up.They live in Guayaquil,a small and very well known city,established in the coast  region of my country.

I am quite sure that the goverment,( the entity which is going to say where the teachers have to work)will assign me in a Public High School.For me ,it is very challenged to teach in those places,because they are not as recognized as Private High Schools, for two reasons.First,they are not well equipped and ,most of time the classrooms are crowded of students.These evidences provide teachers a perspective about background of students which can be positive or negative.

Teachers have to focus on the added value,they can give to make a meaningful change.In my case,I will pretend to implement personal and teaching characteristics.In order, to succeed.In the first case,I will keep a good rapport with my students respecting their opinions and in this way ,they can feel confident and encouraged .On the other hand,in the teaching features I will plan effectivilly my classes,exploding the engage,study and active class stages.Also,I will implement interactive communication activities,effective class material and appropiate class management  .I think that in spite of , the society or goverment issues .Every contemporary English teacher has the responsability of developing effective engaging classes,in which students feel motivated and interested in acquiring knowledge.
