In our current education system, responsible for the way how people learn or acquire any knowledge are teachers, and then we are encouraged to explore and create several different learning environments in order to analyze the needs of the students, these involve to make conclusions and implications for what we teach, how we teach it, and how we assess what our students learn in order to promote active learning.

According with our educational environment in Ecuador, there are several aspects to be considering, such as; regions, ages, socio-economic and political status, gender, infrastructure, human resources, etc. For example, in my country, the education is almost free, there are qualify teachers, the infrastructure has been changed, but as a teachers we face many problems, such as the quantity of students per class, the level of knowledge, and also the variety of dialects, so that, if teachers have the same expectations of success for all your students, they must beat all these facts in mind.

Certainly, students must be given opportunities to improve their skills and demonstrate knowledge, and this can be accomplished by teacher’s feedback, of course they have to master English and have a wide vocabulary. Also those things must be complement with a master Methodology, in order to have a balance in the process of learning; it is the only way we can improve English skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in our students.

In conclusion, learning goals need to be make level with what is taught because it’s the only way how students can understand that there is a purpose to what they are learning and that every aspect of their lives are related with the process of acquiring a new language.
